Studying the impact of depression on quality of life for adults with Autism

There is growing evidence that people with Autism Spectrum Disorders are at a high risk of associated psychiatric disorders – with depression being the most common.

This study looks at the impact of depression on quality of life for autistic adults. Those with and without an additional diagnosis of depression are encouraged to take part. The aim is to better understand the factors that contributes to one's quality of life.

This study has been reviewed and approved by the Psychology and Human Development department ethics committee at the Institute of Education.
